Our story
The SAXELIER Philosophy
Individual fit.
Refined design.
Modern craftsmanship.
SAXELIER was born from a fascination with saxophones, mouthpieces, reeds and the details that shape the playing experience.
Vintage saxophone culture has always valued individuality. Players search for particular mouthpieces, reeds and setups because small differences matter.
SAXELIER brings that philosophy to the ligature. Rather than relying on one universal shape, each fit is developed around the dimensions of the mouthpiece it is intended for.
The result is a boutique accessory shaped by a musician's point of view: secure where it needs to be, visually distinctive and considered as part of the complete setup - mouthpiece, reed and player.

From mouthpiece details to finished ligature
Made for the mouthpiece.
01 · Identify the fit
We confirm the instrument, mouthpiece brand and model, and whether a supported Standard Fit already exists.
02 · Measure
Standard and Custom Fit use existing supported mouthpiece dimensions and require no new measurements or photographs. Only Bespoke Development requires photographs and a measurement in millimetres where the ligature normally sits, with the reed fitted in its playing position.
03 · Produce
After the fitting details are confirmed, the ligature is produced in the selected color and paired with a complimentary black or white reed cap.
